Cookie Policy

Last Updated: September 9, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Honey Brown, LLC (doing business as FinanceIQ, "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.tryfinanceiq.com (the "Site") and the FinanceIQ service.

This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use personal information generally.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They allow the site to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and gather information about how you interact with the site. Similar technologies, including pixel tags, web beacons, local storage, and SDKs, serve similar purposes; we refer to all of them collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies to:

  • Operate the Site and authenticate users
  • Remember your preferences and settings
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
  • Measure the effectiveness of our marketing
  • Detect and prevent fraud and abuse

Categories of Cookies on Our Site

Strictly Necessary

Required for the Site and Service to function. Without them, you would not be able to log in, navigate, or use core features. This includes first-party storage of settings you choose inside the Service, such as your selected NetSuite instance and reporting period, and the record of your cookie choices. It is never shared with third parties or used to track you. These cannot be disabled.

Analytics

Help us understand how visitors interact with the Site so we can improve it. Set by third-party analytics tools only with your consent (where required by law).

Marketing

Set by our advertising partners (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta and LinkedIn) through Google Tag Manager to measure whether our campaigns lead to account signups and to show you relevant content. When you create an account we report that single “signup” event to these partners, identified only by an opaque account identifier. These cookies are only set if you allow marketing cookies.

Functional

Would enable enhanced third-party features such as embedded media or support chat. We do not currently use any functional cookies; the category is listed so you can set your preference before any are introduced.

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can control non-essential cookies in three ways:

  • Our cookie consent banner and settings. When you first visit the Site from outside the United States, you will be prompted to accept or decline non-essential cookies before any are set. Visitors in the United States are not shown a banner; analytics and marketing cookies are enabled by default and you may opt out at any time. Everyone can change their choice through the "Cookie Settings" link in the Site footer or, when signed in, under Profile, Security, Cookie preferences. Your choice is stored in this browser for 12 months.
  • Your browser. Most browsers let you block, restrict, or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect Site functionality.
  • Industry opt-out tools. You can opt out of many advertising and analytics cookies through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out page at https://optout.aboutads.info/ and the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, which have no agreed industry meaning. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC): when your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out of analytics and marketing cookies everywhere, including in the United States, without showing a banner. Our cookie settings remain the primary mechanism for managing your preferences.

Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will also be communicated as described in our Privacy Policy.
